This policy covers how Daaman Welfare Society & Trust (hereinafter referred to as "Daaman") treats personal information that it collects and receives, including information related to your cases/personal issues. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, phone number, cases, litigations, or matrimonial disputes and anything that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of Daaman that it does not own or control; or to people that Daaman does not employ or manage.
Daaman collects/ receives personal information when you join Daaman physically in weekly meetings or online while registering or subscribing to any of Daaman’s services. Daaman may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from our associates/partners. When you join/register/subscribe we ask for information such as your name, address, email address, phone number, cases, litigations, matrimonial disputes, skill set and personal interests. Once you join/register/subscribe with Daaman of its services, you are not anonymous to us. Daaman automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, Daaman cookie information, and the page you request. Daaman uses information for the following general purposes: to refine the content you see, fulfill your requests for services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external surveys.
Daaman may set and access Daaman 'cookies' on your computer. Daaman may let other companies/organizations that may show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies'/organizations’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.
You cannot modify your information held by Daaman. We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Daaman service, such as event announcements and administrative messages, that are considered part of your Daaman account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them. You can seize to be a member by contacting Daaman.
Confidentiality and Security
We limit access to personal information about you to counselors/members who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide services to you or in order to do their other designated tasks. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with regulations to protect personal information about you.
Protecting Your Information
Daaman does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated organizations except to provide services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We provide the information to trusted counselors/members who work on behalf of or with Daaman under confidentiality understanding/agreements. These counselors/members may use your personal information to help do their designated tasks;
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical/non-physical safety of any person, violations of Daaman's Terms and Conditions of Service Agreement , or as otherwise required by law;
Daaman may update this policy. We may notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your details with Daaman, or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
