The trial Courts must initiate action under section 340 Cr.P.C (or under section 344 Cr.P.C) against the hostile informant or other witness for false prosecutions under section 182 IPC, or for giving false evidence under section 193 IPC or other applicable provisions.

 

The Courts could also take steps for cancelling the bail of the accused where witnesses are being suborned and won over by the accused.
